FinesseFit

Finesse Fit is a place to come and feel motivated, encouraged and strong.  We are centered around community and connecting with others through fitness. The owners of Finesse Fit, Lexie and Kandi; are long-time friends who both have a love of fitness that turned into a passion of sharing that love with others.  What started as a casual conversation about the dream of opening their own fitness studio has turned into a reality.

Hi All, my name is Lexie. I am a wife and mom who is fiercely passionate about empowering women, especially through fitness. My fitness background is very diverse, from Crossfit to group fitness, sports to pilates, fitness apps to yoga, at home workouts, group workouts, running, cycling... I’ve done it all lol. However, nothing has made my body feel better than pilates and barre. Barre is FUN, tones your whole body and I’ve never loved instructing anything like I LOVE instructing barre.  

I am also a Stott trained Pilates instructor and teach mat Pilates and reformer pilates private sessions. Opening this studio is dream come true and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Finesse Fit.

I am a wife and mom of 3 who loves all things fitness related!  I have done everything from ballet to basketball and everything in between since I was very young and I’ve enjoyed it all.  My dedication to maintaining an active lifestyle has transformed into a passion for sharing that lifestyle with others and connecting with others through group fitness.  

I am Total Barre certified and currently completing my Stott Pilates certification programs. I am so excited to share my love of Barre, Pilates and fitness with this community!

My name is Aubrey Ingman. My whole life I have always been passionate about fitness and living an active lifestyle. I have a diverse fitness and exercise background which has helped me appreciate a wide range of fitness practices. I like to incorporate a variety of these practices in each class, including HIIT, Tabata, weight training, bodyweight strength training, and circuits. I strongly believe in a physical health and mental health balance and encourage my clients to do the same. I work part-time as a social worker and am a mother of a 2-year-old and understand the importance of taking time to focus on yourself each day.

My name is Grashia Bates, I live in Big Lake with my husband and in addition to being apart of the Finesse team I also work as a chiropractic assistant for a local Chiropractor. I have always had a passion for fitness, my love for Barre stems from my past experiences with dance, cheerleading and gymnastics. I am so excited to be apart of the finesse team & work along side such inspiring women!

I am Total Barre certified and currently completing my Stott Pilates certification programs. I am so excited to share my love of Barre, Pilates and fitness with this community!

I’ve been a yoga instructor for 8 years and practicing yoga for 10, but my passion for movement as a way of expression started in my early years as a dancer. I found as an adult, yoga was more accessible but still allowed me to express myself with fluid motion and had the added benefit of calming the mind, relieving stress, and creating a peaceful spirit. I love the challenge that yoga can bring and also the calm and steadiness it offers. I’m truly a believer that it’s for everyone and that it can change lives for the better. There’s nothing I love more than sharing yoga with others, watching them grow in their own practice and experiencing the benefits for themselves. I’ve really been into fitness since the age of 14 when I took my first step aerobics class at Riverside Health Club. My fitness evolution has taken me from Riverside Health Club, Mount Baker CrossFit, where I was a trainer for 13 years, and nowhere, a boot camp instructor at Finesse Fit. I am looking forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm for fitness to others.

During the day I am a Human Resources Manager for the City of Burlington; what I love most about my job is the interactions and helping people navigate their professional life and life’s big changes. I am also a mom to a wonderful 8-year-old boy; he is the light of my life.

In this fast paced world we live in, Maia’s number one priority is to combat the effect of stress. She received her mindfulness-based yoga teacher training and became a RYT200 in 2017.

Her teaching combines an alignment focused yoga practice with mindful breath work to build strength and structural integrity in the body while combatting physical and emotional stress.

I stumbled upon yoga 5 years ago and completed 200-hour yoga teacher training this year. Yoga has taught me that I am enough, every time I step on my mat I choose to surrender to the unknown and it continues to awaken me to love and connection. Influenced by my challenges thru life, I aim to foster strength, grace and radical self-love with my teaching - creating a safe space for students to breathe and move mindfully.

Hi, I’m Flora Lucatero and if there’s anything I’ve learned in the past 12 years its how to get healthy and fit after having four babies. With each of my pregnancies I gained more than 55 pounds.
It was during this journey of losing that weight, that I found my love and passion to empower others with their health and fitness goals. I combine nutrition, my experience with CrossFit, running, and other fitness based programs to create sustainable solutions to getting and staying fit in our fast paced demanding times. I’m excited to bring what I have to work together, towards a healthier stronger you!

My husband and I love being active, playing sports, and are both passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. I am excited to help others become more aware of their bodies and learn what their bodies are capable of.

Barre

This 55 minute class is high intensity, low-impact, full-body workout that combines ballet, pilates, strength, and flexibility. All classes are choreographed to fun and energetic music in supportive and empowering class environment. We offer modifications or intensifications that will suit your fitness level.

Bootcamp

Bootcamp is a high-intensity 60 minute class that incorporates full body movement, circuits with weights and HIIT.

Pilates with Props

As is pilates wasn’t already challenging enough? We have taken our mat pilates class and added props. You will use booty bands, pilates balls and weights for an extra challenge. This class is open to all levels.

Power Vinyasa Fusion

Strong & sweat inducing. Flow Power is our offering for vinyasa lovers looking for an additional physical challenge. Expect fast-paced, deep flows to build strength, stamina and energy.

Restorative Vinyasa Flow

Leave the hustle behind and come unwind with us. Take an active, conscious rest. Restorative yoga blends moving meditations and blissful therapeutic poses. The practice is enhanced with soothing music to help the body release, relax and renew.

Warm Power Vinyasa

A flowing practice combining breath and motion, with some additional strength building and advanced poses meant to challenge our bodies and minds and take our practice to the next level. The added benefit of heat boosts the intensity, helps loosen tight muscles, and creates a detoxifying experience. This 55-minute class is high intensity, low-impact, full-body workout that combines ballet, pilates, strength, and flexibility. All classes are choreographed to fun and energetic music in a supportive and empowering class environment. We offer modifications or intensifications that will suit your fitness level.
